The fall colors are all gone now, but not too long ago the side roads and highways were a mass of oranges and reds and yellows. One thing I've noticed since I've moved to the area is how many trees there are, and it's amazing in the fall when everything changes color. Driving down the highway to Parkersburg is almost like riding down a fall colored water slide where the sides go up high above your head. On both sides of the road it's just warm colors all the way to the sky.

Laura and Josh made my job easy: they are the opposite of camera shy. Instead, their fun antics only increased in front of my lens. During their engagement shoot, they broke out into skipping and hoping straight out of West Side Story. They are so comfortable with each other that I don’t think it would be possible to take a bad photo of them.

Fields of Gettysburg at the People's Bank Theatre

I love stories, and I love music. I love it best when the two are combined. When I was young, I would spend hours after band practice sitting in my basement and listening to my father's worn out vinyl of Jesus Christ Superstar. It wasn't (and isn't) a soundtrack. It was narrative in song. Since then I've discovered, and loved, similar albums such as Drive-By Trucker's Southern Rock Opera. I've just fallen in love with this whole genre.
